Introducing ACE! Ace is the place : ) Ace is a one-year-old, neutered, male who weighs approx 30 lbs. Up-to-date on vaccines and had his annual vet check at Stoneback Veterinary Associates in late March, housebroken, good with cats, grew up with kids and can live with a dog. Ace is a very shy and timid guy and will take some time to warm up but, once he does, he’ll be your sidekick. He is going to need some training and socialization as puppies always do. Ace is quite the love - if you are sitting, he is on your lap, wanting to cuddle. As far as we know he hasn’t been exposed to a lot of dogs, and will need time to transition into a home with other pets. His foster mom has two dogs and he seems skittish when they approach or if they try to initiate play with him. She feels over time he will gradually feel more comfortable. He will definitely need positive training and confidence building to make him a well rounded pup. It’s always important to socialize your puppy to many different things, so they can learn to adapt in a normal life. Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
