Meet Charybdis!!! She is most lovable girl around. Her large size is nothing compared to her large heart. She does well with other dogs and loves people. She walks very well on a leash as she stays by your side the whole time. She does well with kids and is looking for her forever home. She would need a large yard or a good walk to keep her active and busy. Otherwise she is the best cuddle buddy.

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
