My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.

Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

A volunteer writes: Who's my best boy? Mega's my best boy and he could be yours too! Give him a chance to show off his uniquely endearing combination of playful energy and sweet snuggles and you'll adore him as much as I do. Mega weighs under 70 pounds but his personality is larger than life and like a puppy he loves to run and play and be close to his people. He jumps up because he wants to cuddle and once you make a 'shelf' with your arm he's happy to rest his front paws and soak up a nice face and body massage. If stand-up hugs are too forward, he also does a wonderful 'leg lean', resting his whole side against your shins for maximum petting coverage. Mega shares toys nicely but he's been known to eat them so only rubberized/plastic or long-lasting bones for this eager beaver! He needs some training on leash but is a quick learner and we've made great progress on his potty skills already. I can't say enough good things about Mega and in a committed home where he'll get all the guidance, exercise and affection he craves, this handsome hunk is gonna be a star!
