My name is Lucy!

Hi there, I'm Lucy! I am a approximately 2-year-old Dogo Argentino who weighs 52lbs. I was surrendered to the shelter on 03/01/2024 because my owner could no longer care for me. Now, I am hoping to find my new FURever home! I am a little timid at first but very sweet once I warm up to you. I am shy until I get to know you and LOVE a snuggly bed. I have not been introduced to another dog yet so a meet and greet is suggested if you have other dogs in the home to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my basic yearly boosters. I did test positive for heartworms, however, thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I am able to receive treatment for little to no cost to my adopter. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
