My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Five beautiful Great Pyrenees pups -- Mom, Dad, and 3 boys -- came to us when the puppies were about 4 weeks old. They were with someone who had health issues and was unable to care for them. The person who asked us if we could help was concerned that they were about to start separating the puppies from mama, and each other, well before they were old enough for that to be a good idea.

Mom and Dad (Gwen and Blake) had only ever lived outdoors and know nothing about leash-walking. They are indoors now and doing great but we think could be happy with either lifestyle. They are some of the sweetest, most loving, and grateful young adults we have rescued and are going to be a wonderful additions to the families that adopt them. Although they like each other a lot, they are not a bonded pair – they are happy with other dogs too. They are both being fostered in different homes and are doing fine and learning some indoor manners.

They are BIG and need to go to homes prepared for what it means to have a Great Pyrenees. Do your research if you are not familiar with the breed -- they are gorgeous – but will be happiest in a home where they have a job as is typical of the breed.

If you are interested in meeting this sweet pup, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com. Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption!
