My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sparky!

Sparky came to us from Los Angeles Animal Services- Chesterfield Square on March 13th. He is 13 years old and weighs 80 lbs. Sparky is such a sweet, gentle, and smart boy. And how about his great smile?! Sparky also does well in a playgroup with other male and female dogs.

Sparky enjoys going on our weekly FFF hikes, and he earns rave reviews from volunteers for being a great walker. He doesn't pull, isn't phased by any other dog on the trail, and goes 2.5 miles. Sparky also rides nicely in the car and politely sits for treats!

Sparky is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what he is like in a home, while he soaks up all the extra love. His Fling Mom shares:

"Sparky is such a chill dog. Even snappy little and big dogs don't seem to upset him. Sparky loves to follow you around the house and keep his eyes on you. He really gravitates toward men and will flop over for a belly rub.

Sparky is easy to walk, and he's always up for a stroll, a walk, or hike. He is well-behaved and house-trained suggesting he lived indoors in his past. He also rides quietyly in the car. He sleeps through the night. Sparky is 13 going on 8. He is such a sweet and funny dog!"
