Hello there! I'm Jaxson a/k/a Jax, a handsome guy with a sleek, mostly solid black coat. My family of three sisters, two brothers, and I were rescued and found our way to Animal Ark. Initially I may be a bit on the shy side, but I'm talkative and snuggly when I get comfortable with people. My former fosters report that I am affectionate and enjoy being held. Laser toys and ribbons are favorite toys. My sister Anika and I share a strong bond--she's my protector--and we must be adopted together. We have no experience with children or dogs, but alot of experience with other cats. Come meet us at the shelter if you are looking for a loving pair of kittens.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
