Sawyer is a handsome, distinguished gentleman that is looking for a home that loves a hound. Better yet, a forever home that loves a hound who is as sweet and gentle as they come. This boy is easy to walk on a leash, gets along with dogs and is looking for a place to play then lay his head for a good ole nap in front of the tv. Doesn’t everyone desire their days to be like that? Sawyer came to us from a home where he lived in the woods with a lot of other dogs. No love, no doghouse or home to curl up in during cold months, just the deep woods. Because of these woods, he has tested positive for heartworms. Please don’t think too much into that because Sawyer has already been on meds for quite awhile and will soon only need one HW preventative pill a month until he tests negative again. Isn’t the love of this boy and the fact that you’ve given him love and comfort worth it all? We sure think so!
