My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heath is a young one year old Hound mix who is full of energy and play. He is so friendly and lovable and just happy to be with you. He is current with his vaccinations and heartworm negative. He will be neutered and microchipped when adopted or fostered. He is good with kids, other dogs and does well on a leash.

More about this shelter

Washington Wilkes Animal Shelter is a small, open door shelter. We strive to save every adoptable animal that is surrendered, orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected. All animals are spayed/neutered at time of adoption, vaccinated. All dogs are heartworm tested/treated at time of adoption.

All procedures administered to the shelter animals are funded solely on donations. We are in constant need of monetary donations to continue the vetting of these animals.
