My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am playful and cute!

I love to play and will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy.

A volunteer writes: Starry Night is a masterpiece that I've been able to study for the last few weeks. From her 4 little white socks, to her pink nose and hazel eyes, and the unique stripe across her snout, she's a sight to behold! But each time I take her out, I learn a little something new about her. Like how she loves to play fetch, but only with stuffies, not balls. Like how even though she's energetic and athletic, she's gentle with her toys, handling them with care, and even bringing them on her walks with us. How after she gets in a good play session, she calms down and wants to get close, bringing me her toys and leaning in for pets. And how in spite of the stresses of the shelter, she greets me with a smile and a butt wiggle each and every time, and thanks me with soft kisses for spending time with her.

Starry came to us when her owner abandoned her with a friend. She's reported to be friendly with kids and strangers and likes to be where her people are. Starry is recommended to go to an active home where she will be provided appropriate physical and mental outlets for her energy. We can't wait for Starry's family to learn even more about her in her new home. Ask to meet her today!
