My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello romantics I am Guinevere.  My name means white fairy or fair one.  While Queen Guinevere had a tragic fate, Adopt a pit found me and is improving mine.   I am a 1 yo female Golden Retreiver/Lab/Great Pyrenees mix.  I am about 55 pounds but need to gain a few more as I was found abandoned in a rural area and didn’t get enough to eat. In the time I have been with my foster I have been the most loyal dog, I don’t want to leave their side. I am very sweet and gentle with all small creatures. I have discovered that cats can be friends as well as small children. I love the other foster dogs in my home and enjoy sharing toys with them. I am learning all the rules of being a house dog. At first I was scared of my crate after spending a week in a shelter but I now realize that is where I find treats and rest my head at night. I am the most loose leash walker you have ever seen . As a one year old dog I am past the chewing phase but since I never lived in a home I am working on being house broken. I am treat motivated and have already learned sit, lie down and stay.
