Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tuxedo is a "guard cat", and needs a new home. He was a neighborhood cat with no people skills, but has been neutered now, and fully vaccinated (Rabies, FVRCP, FeLV), and in good health. He is FIV+, so he really should be rehomed to an indoor environment, as a "working cat" to patrol for unwanted critters or other visitors. He won't be thrilled with human interaction, and doesn't seem to pine for other cat attention either.
He loves to eat - wet or dry - but "set it and forget it". He does use a litter box faithfully. He can warn you of incoming nuisances by his growl. He isn't interested in playing or petting (we manage with an oven mitt), but can swat things better than Jose Altuve.
So if a Ring Doorbell or 50 lb. Doberman Pincher dog isn't in your budget, Tuxedo is the cat for you. We don't want him to get in fights or biting (which is how he probably got FIV+ from), so we look for an indoor guard and patrol solitary cat position. And we doubt he will sit on your computer keyboard or favorite chair and leave hair. But Tuxedo deserves to live a safe and long life, with a human who will watch out for him, as he watches out for you. - To fill out our brief, no-obligation application, go to www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PALC/Cat
