My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kinney is ten months old. He is a Kelpie/cattle dog mix. Super Sweet! When he first came to the shelter he was a little nervous and grinned for his picture. He learned to walk on a leash quickly, smart boy! He would love to be your best friend! Come meet this special boy.

More about this shelter

SCAS was founded in 2001 and worked with the Town of Cedaredge to provide an adoption guaranteed animal shelter through 2010. In 2011 SCAS took over the operations of the shelter. Cedaredge has about 2000 residents. Volunteers walk the dogs daily and spend time cuddling the cats. We have a foster kitten program to keep kittens healthy and cuddly. Often we have barn cats available when free roaming cats can't be tamed to household living. Our dogs come to us as strays and through relinquishment. They are often lively guys in need of love and manners!! We have 8 dog runs.
