Hello,

My name is Paddy, I am around 2 years old and looking for my purr-fect home.

I am a super super shy boy who desperately wants to be loved. I am looking for someone who will take their time with me and show my love. I LOVE catnip and temptations cat treats. I will come right out for them. Once I know I am safe with my person, I become the biggest love bug you ever met! I will be all over you asking for love. Both of your hands are made to love me!

I would benefit from a nice quiet home with someone who understands that I just need time. While I do get along with other cats, I would do best in a home as an only pet. I love my person so much that I will claim them by marking my home. So a home where it is just me and my person, will be the best home for me.

We get all vet information so we can perform a Vet Check.

Meet the Pet

Cats are usually met in our adoption facility and dogs are met at an adoption event or with their foster.

Approve Application

Sign Adoption Contract

The fee is paid at the same time as signing the contract.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We require an application to be submitted. We will call your landlord, if applicable, and your veterinarian. We will visit your home prior to placing a pet with you to ensure as perfect a match as we can. Applying for a pet does not guarantee adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 for cats and $225 for dogs. We have a Senior to Senior adoption program - all pets 7 years of age up may be placed free of charge to a qualified senior citizen (age 65 and older).

All HOPE animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All HOPE animals are tested for heartworm, Lymes, feline leukemia, etc. and have been vaccinated as appropriate for the pet's age and species.

To meet a specific pet, you can call to set up an appointment with the pet's foster home. We also regularly have adoption clinics in the local area. More about this rescue

We mainly rescue dogs and cats from local Animal Shelters/Control when those facilities are overcrowded. Our adoptable cats are located in our H.O.P.E. Pet Adoption Center in the Wilton Mall and dogs are in individual foster homes.

We have educational programs for children and adults about choosing a pet and the responsibilities of pet ownership, and safety around animals.

We welcome volunteers for any of these programs or for our fundraising committee.
