Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Snack.
I am around 3 years old and I think I am ready to find my new fur-ever home. I am a very shy boy. Just like my name says, I love to snack. Honestly that is going to be the way to win my heart.
I was found outside a HOPE employee's home. When no one claimed me, she brought me into HOPE. I am FIV positive but other than that I am a perfectly healthy boy.
Like I said before, I am a shy boy and need someone who can take their time with me. Just like my name though, snacks are your way into my heart. I will forget all about being shy when food is involved.
I seem interested in meeting other cats, but I am not sure if I would like a dog friend. A quiet home would be best for me, so if your home is an active loud one, that may not work.
Please stop in and spend some time with me, I promise I just want to find my purr-fect person.

We require an application to be submitted. We will call your landlord, if applicable, and your veterinarian. We will visit your home prior to placing a pet with you to ensure as perfect a match as we can. Applying for a pet does not guarantee adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 for cats and $225 for dogs. We have a Senior to Senior adoption program - all pets 7 years of age up may be placed free of charge to a qualified senior citizen (age 65 and older).
.
All HOPE animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All HOPE animals are tested for heartworm, Lymes, feline leukemia, etc. and have been vaccinated as appropriate for the pet's age and species.

More about this rescue
We mainly rescue dogs and cats from local Animal Shelters/Control when those facilities are overcrowded. Our adoptable cats are located in our H.O.P.E. Pet Adoption Center in the Wilton Mall and dogs are in individual foster homes.
We have educational programs for children and adults about choosing a pet and the responsibilities of pet ownership, and safety around animals.
We welcome volunteers for any of these programs or for our fundraising committee.
