My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arriving to Pittsburgh soon! Coming from a shelter, my history is a bit of a mystery, but here's what my shelter friends said about me:

"Who wants a best friend??? Sophy is your girl and she isn't picky! She likes to say hello with a hug and kiss as soon as she meets you- this girl does not meet a stranger. She also greeted neighbors down the row with a wagging tail. She let me pick her up with no issues and had the cutest little freckles. Once in the run outside she was little barky, but I just think she wants to play and was excited (and there were also lots of barking dogs around).

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
