Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opal was picked up as a stray on 1/2/2024. She was hanging around the home since Christmas Eve and no one nearby was looking for her. She is a lovely hound dog that we are guessing to be around 2 years old. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is a gentle girl and so sweet. She is also very timid of new situations. Likes to play with dogs and children. Adoption fee is $150.00

Our hours are Monday-Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10-3, Thursday and Sunday Closed.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only 2 employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
