My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Griswold is ADOPTABLE but also looking for a FOSTER HOME!*** You serious, Clark?" Just like his namesake, Griswold is handsome, goofy, and devoted to family. He's affectionate and loves to be at your side but curiosity pulls him away sometimes, especially if it smells like food. At about 3 years old, Griswold is a survivor of the streets (of Corbin, KY), but this clever and playful pup is already learning how to "make fetch happen" and picking up new tricks. He's been fully vetted and is ready to find his very own furever family. Griswold would do best in a home without small children (he gets so excited that his tail is dangerous) and he thinks he might like to have a canine buddy to help show him the ropes of living the good life. Link to his DNA results: www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/qk15s06 His adoption fee has been FULLY SPONSORED! If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application and we'll be in touch ASAP. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets would be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
