Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Change loves the other dogs in his foster home, he would thrive in a multi-dog household with at least one other canine companion to play with. He loves nap time, exploring the outdoors, car rides, and food! Change has some anxiety due to previously being chained up outside and then being in a loud shelter. He seems to do better in a quiet, zen environment. Because of this, he needs a home with children ages 13+ (if any children at all). He is 100% friendly with children, but we just think he would do best in a calm, quiet home! Change has been attending our weekly group training sessions. His trainer has said he needs more public exposure, so he and his foster mom have been going to the park and running errands together. Change is a perfect gentleman! Whoever gets him will need to continue socializing him to new things. Good news: Change comes with FREE continued professional training sessions! Change is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He's good with dogs and with cats (he has done ok so far with the cats in his foster home but we wouldnt leave him unattended with cats until everyone is fully acclimated to each other and his new environment). Change is out of the young puppy stage and is already housebroken and crate trained (a treat or a small snack helps)! He even does well during nail trims. If you're interested in adopting Change, please submit an application. Change's adoption fee is $250. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets would be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial period. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.
