My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Albert is a classic dark brown tabby with extra toes on all four paws. He came to HART through fault of his own and is almost 11 years old. At first, he was understandably sad and confused to leave his home, but he is now relaxed and shows his sweet, loving purrsonality. He is a gentle boy who loves human attention, and catnip toys. You'll usually find him comfortably perched in a cat tree, looking hopefully for some petting and loving attention. Although he came in with his brother, Theodore, we don't feel that they are bonded. (Although it would be really nice to have them go home together....)

Albert has some medical concerns (as do many aging cats): he has some chronic discharge from his eyes, has some signs that he could have kidney issues in the future and has a sensitive digestive system. We manage him with a once a day medication, fluids under skin a couple times a week, plus we feed him a limited ingredient diet of duck. He is a wonderful boy that will thrive in a loving, quiet home!
