This little mama is a young empty nester, looking for a calm home environment to settle into. She enjoys gentle walks, sitting in the sunshine, and snuggles on comfy beds. She needs a home that can be gentle with her and is willing to take the time to earn her trust.
Mickey was found by a Good Samaritan, when she was pregnant with 3 pups, and had been living her young life as an outdoor dog.
Mickey is currently sleeping in a crate and goes potty outside when asked. She gets along with respectful small dogs and cats. She is nervous around large and/or excitable dogs or small children due to her petite size.
Little Mickey is full of potential, and has a gentle heart that will grow to draw her people in and wrap them around her dainty paw. Time is your friend with this girl by your side.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with information about the next steps and setting up a Meet and Greet. Our process is not a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
