My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pip ~

Pip is a Velcro dog who just loves being around his person.  He was found on the street and someone took him in and has been caring for him, but is unable to keep him.  Pip likes leisurely walks and playing with balls.  He likes people of all ages and most dogs.  Pip takes treats very gently and is really a pretty chill dog.  Pip does well in the car for short trips around town, but gets stressed out on road trips.  He is  house trained and knows how to use a doggie door.

What Pip really wants to be his person's best buddy and constant companion.  He would be happiest in a home with someone who is home a lot, although his foster mom leads an active life and she reports that he handles being left at home alone for several hours at a time well.

Come see this pup on Saturdays during adoption event hours. Please email Linda at LBREDFIRE@sbcglobal.net or call WT&F's Dog Team voicemail 707-812-9030 to get a jump on the process, ask questions, and/or to confirm they will be there. Dog adoptions are held outside Napa Petco every Saturday - 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

This dog comes spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. See more information at http://whiskerstailsandferals.org/

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
