My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Freddy. This 3 year old boy has arrived and as promised, he is a sweet, curious, very active boy. He needs a lot of training, especially on leash. He is strong and determined, but wants to please. Freddy loves to play ball and needs a lot of exercise to keep him entertained. Freddy definitely needs to be with a family with a good size, secure yard and someone that can be home with him the majority of the time to take him to training and work with him. Freddy gets along with other dogs, but in true cocker style he just wants to be with his special person.

Here are some words from Freddy's foster mom, describing him.
"Freddy is a big, strong boy. He is a really good boy, very smart and powerful. He could easily knock someone over and pull them across the state. :-) Freddy knows basic commands, sit, down, leave it and will sit and watch you in the kitchen. He loves, loves, loves his squeaky toys and could chase balls all day. Freddy sleeps through the night, only barks when something gets his attention. He will give you a little whine when he wants attention. He is reactive on walks to other dogs and needs a lot of work on pulling. Freddy can be a "bull in a china shop", but provided a good home where he has someone to spend time and work with him, he will be a very good dog. He is anxious to please and deserves a forever home with someone to love and train him.

Freddy has been to the Vet and has a clean bill of health.
