Fluffy is a 11 -year-old 20 pound Maltese/Terrier mix. Fluffy was found as a stray and wound
up at San Antonio Animal Care Services with a stringy dirty coat. He was compliant with his bath
and grooming. You may notice the cataract in his right eye, but it does not seem to affect him.
This sweet boy is a charmer! He arrived fluffy but dirty, and after a bath and a haircut, he
became even cuter. He has a great personality, full of excitement and love and is especially
fond of going for walks. He's housebroken and has several signals to tell you he needs to go out.
I tease him sometimes by asking if he used his pink foam curlers last night on his ears, as he has
the most delightfully curled ears! He has a few special rugs he sleeps on when he is left alone,
but he gets anxious in a crate.
Fluffy is not much of a toy player but likes to chew on bones and bully sticks. He is protective of
them as well. He has figured out several toys with sliding doors that hide food - he's smart! He
will bark at unknown dogs when out for a walk, but it seems to be because he'd like to get to
know them.
Fluffy enjoys being a couch potato and seeking attention from his people. He is a happy boy
looking for his forever home.
Fluffy sleeps quietly next to or under the bed at night. He knows several commands and has
used a doggie door.
He walks well on a leash, loves car rides. his interaction with kids is unknown. He barks at cats.
Fluffy is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventions, is neutered and microchipped. He would
do well in a house by himself, or with another dog.

Home visit: You will be contacted by a volunteer to set up a time for a virtual home/yard check.

Call with Foster or Kennel Manager to set up a meet and greet.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death.
