My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi friends! My name is Saturn, and I'm here to share my story of finding love and companionship with you. As a striking orange tabby with eyes that shimmer like precious jewels, I'm on a quest to find my forever family who will cherish me as much as I cherish them.
My journey began on the unforgiving streets, where I roamed alone, searching for warmth and affection. But fate had other plans for me, and I was rescued by a kind 'cat lady' who saw the potential for love in my gentle nature. Though I may have been a stray, my heart was always yearning for a home filled with love and laughter.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that I belonged with a family who would envelop me in their warmth and shower me with affection. I've proven myself to be the perfect companion for anyone lucky enough to cross my path. I adore everyone I meet, and in return, I'm adored by all who know me.
My love knows no bounds—I have a soft spot for humans of all ages, from tiny human children to wise elders. And as for furry friends, well, let's just say I'm a social butterfly! I love nothing more than frolicking and playing with other cats and even friendly dogs. But what I desire most is a constant companion to share my days with when my humans are away.
Given my sociable nature, I believe I would thrive best in a home with another fur baby by my side. Whether it's a feline friend to engage in playful antics with or a gentle dog who shares my love for cuddles, I'm ready to welcome a companion into my heart and home.
I've already been neutered and am up to date on all my vaccines, so I'm fully prepared to join your family and embark on a lifetime of love and adventures together. If you're seeking a furry friend to brighten your days and fill your home with joy, look no further. I'm here, waiting with open paws and a heart full of love, ready to be your faithful companion for life. Come meet me in my foster home!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport

We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 11, 2024, 5:51 am

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
