My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Steve!
2.5 years old
65 lbs

Steve is the sweetest, most gentle boy who loves to give hugs and snuggle! Everyone he meets loves him and he has become a favorite at the vet.

Steve is house trained and is working on letting his foster mom know when he has to go potty by ringing the bells on the door. He loves to play, go for walks and after snuggle on the couch and watch a movie.

Steve loves other dogs and is great with kids. He did meet a cat at a friend’s house, and didn’t bark or growl or anything! He sniffed her politely.

When walking on a leash he does pretty good, he does pull sometimes but if you distract him with a treat he stops pulling. When it comes to toys he loves to chew so we have been staying away from stuffed toys and sticking to his kong and other hard to chew apart toys. He loves bones and pup cups!

We are working on basic commands like sit, lay down and stay. Steve is a very curious guy so when home alone he goes in his crate so he won't get into anything but he doesn't bark when he's in there.

Steve would make a great family dog! Whomever adopts him will be very lucky.
