Monty is an extremely sweet short short-haired black and white male kitten. His approximate DOB is September of 2023. He is the best little snugger in the entire world. He loves to be with his humans and be held and snuggled for a nice nap. He likes to play with small and medium-sized toys such as soft little balls and stuffed animals that he can chase and pick up with his mouth and carry or bat around.
He is extremely outgoing, independent, sweet, and playful. He is a brave little explorer who just wants to sniff and check out everything. He likes to be around people all the time and if left alone he will try to search for other kitties to play with or just curl up for a peaceful nap.
Monty would do great in a home where someone is home often to give him all sorts of love. He loves lots of body pets, rubs, and kisses, this will surely get his little motor purring. He enjoys being picked up and held all the time. If he has his mind elsewhere, he will squirm to get down. If you are sitting watching TV, he will jump up and stretch himself out next to you or on you to watch some TV too. He likes to drink his water out of a water fountain. If you give him a dish of water, he would more likely play in it.
He would also do well in a home with other pets or children. He enjoys the company of other cats. He is not afraid to run up to and rub against them. He has been playing with a few of our younger adult cats and they run and tumble all over the house. But he is more drawn to people.
He does tend to try to follow his humans out the door and will come running to the door when he hears someone coming in. He doesn’t try to get outside, but he is excited to be with people and wants to follow them. His new parents will need to keep this in mind, however, we are seeing him do this a little less every day so he may grow out of this as he acclimates to his new home. to be careful of this, however, we are seeing him do this a little less as he gets more comfortable in his home).
All of our cats and kittens receive an exam, are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped.
