Introducing Reggie, the senior boy with the heart of a pup who's looking to celebrate his golden years in a home with lots of love, attention and chewy treats. 😋
Reggie is a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix who's approximately 10 years old and 18 pounds of honest to goodness good boy. He's amazing with children of all ages....who could blame him when he's getting all the love and attention?! 😁
Reggie doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs and would do best being the only furry apple of his family's eye. 🍏 At this time, Reggie hasn't been tested with cats.
Reggie loves going for walks and is a pro on leash. He's also good in his crate. Sometimes he needs to be enticed to go in with a treat or two but once he's in, he sleeps comfortably and is calm. 😴
Reggie has been great with potty training and has learned to go to the door when he needs out. He also proved what a good boy he is because he's free to roam the house when his foster family goes out to run errands. Reggie just patiently awaits their return. 🥹
Reggie's quirky personality is as cute as his little face....he loves to sleep on his back, legs straight up in the air. Reggie insists it's for spinal alignment but we think he loves the belly rubs. 😉 Reggie likes his toys a lot and can be a bit destructive with his toys. But, like the smart boy he is, Reggie is learning which toys he can chew on....antlers are a favourite! He loves being picked up and carried around like a doll. While some may think he's being spoiled, we like to think he's being loved like he truly deserves. 😍
If Reggie sounds like the type of boy who is super relaxed and easygoing, we're here to confirm he is! He's happy to be where his humans are and eagerly awaits meeting his new forever family. 💙
