My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, I am Dixie. I am a sweet misunderstood, awkward lovebug. I was found in the shelter on the euthanasia list dragging my back end around from being beaten. My rescue friends rehabilitated me and I am doing great. Now all I need is my furever home, preferable one without other dogs as I like to be in charge and can be alittle bossy. But I am affectionate and loving and would do amazing as on only dog. Can I come live with you?

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to easing the suffering of our little four legged friends through our rescue efforts. Our hope is to save animals, educate the public, and eventually eliminate the need for euthanasia. Our priority will ALWAYS be the well being of the animals first and foremost. We will never discriminate because of breed or size. Without your adoption donation we could not continue to save as many animals as we do. In addition to our rescue efforts we have established a sanctuary program for those animals who we feel need our help, but are better off not adopted out to the general public. We are 100% supported by donations so please feel free to help in that manner if you are unable to adopt or foster. Thank you for your participation in our rescue programs.
