My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Double the purrs, double the love! Meet 2 year old Boop, sidekick to her sister Buttons. This delightful duo is ready to be your feline best friends! These girls are both playful, sweet companions who love to snooze in your lap. Fun-loving Boop adores all toys, especially those with feathers, but chasing a laser is the cat’s meow. Buttons is laid-back, happy to snuggle in your clothes, sleep on the warm dryers, or nap next to you while you work. An affectionate girl, Buttons will be the first to greet you when you arrive home!. These curious kitties enjoy following you around, but the girls are also happy to be independent. Avid window-watchers, Boop and Buttons are easily entertained by the birds and squirrels outside.. Both cats are spayed and house-trained and play well with other cats. Although listed separately, as bonded siblings, the cats must be adopted together. No two ways about it, Boop and Buttons are ready to bring their joy and cuddles to your home!

This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and the little one. After that, we will make arrangements to have the pet transported by van or flown to the Seattle area. The process of arranging the travel and getting the animal here, on average, takes 2-3 weeks, depending on availability of the transporters and your availability to meet them. We understand this process is not as easy as walking into a shelter and immediately adopting a pet, but getting animals out of Houston and the surrounding areas is the only viable chance many of them have, so we appreciate your understanding during this process. We do not accept ANY adoption fees ahead of the pet's arrival, until the pet is with you. We also understand adopting a pet you have not seen in person can be a bit worrisome, especially if other animals are involved. During the adoption process we do our best to convey the personality and allowances of each pet. This is where the foster's involvement is vital. The fosters have the animals often for an extended period of time, and have gotten to know them well. In saying that, not everything is predictable. If things are not what you expect, we have resources on the Seattle side to take the animal back. If possible, we would appreciate, if the situation allows, for you to foster the pet until a new home is found. If that is not possible, we also understand that, and will take them back regardless.

Additional adoption info

We are based in Houston with connections getting them to Seattle. We made these connections based on the fact it is virtually impossible to find good homes in the Houston area. We will not be able to do one day adoptions (it could take up to a few weeks to coordinate everything), but our partners and friends in your area will help make things happen.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer and foster based rescue group focusing on helping animals in Houston, Texas and the surrounding areas. We primarily help those that contact us with strays/ pets they want to surrender, and animals from Harris County Animal Shelter. Our focus is to get the animals as healthy as possible and to thoroughly analyze their temperament to try our best to find a permanent forever home for them. We always look for the best fit possible for the animals and the adopters.
