Hello, my name is Luna Joe! I am a very handsome 2 year old gentleman. I have soft black shiny fur and the cutest white whiskers. I love to sit with you and get soft pets. I can be shy when I first meet someone, but once I warm up to you I love to cuddle. I like to play with strings or anything dangly. I love scratch boards. I also really love my brother-Tiny. My brother Tiny and I are bonded, so we need to stay together when we get our forever home. We are best friends! We want a home where we can become the best brothers we can be and relax. We REALLY want a family of our own. Please consider us!
This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and the little one. After that, we will make arrangements to have the pet transported by van or flown to the Seattle area. The process of arranging the travel and getting the animal here, on average, takes 2-3 weeks, depending on availability of the transporters and your availability to meet them. We understand this process is not as easy as walking into a shelter and immediately adopting a pet, but getting animals out of Houston and the surrounding areas is the only viable chance many of them have, so we appreciate your understanding during this process. We do not accept ANY adoption fees ahead of the pet's arrival, until the pet is with you. We also understand adopting a pet you have not seen in person can be a bit worrisome, especially if other animals are involved. During the adoption process we do our best to convey the personality and allowances of each pet. This is where the foster's involvement is vital. The fosters have the animals often for an extended period of time, and have gotten to know them well. In saying that, not everything is predictable. If things are not what you expect, we have resources on the Seattle side to take the animal back. If possible, we would appreciate, if the situation allows, for you to foster the pet until a new home is found. If that is not possible, we also understand that, and will take them back regardless.

We are a volunteer and foster based rescue group focusing on helping animals in Houston, Texas and the surrounding areas. We primarily help those that contact us with strays/ pets they want to surrender, and animals from Harris County Animal Shelter. Our focus is to get the animals as healthy as possible and to thoroughly analyze their temperament to try our best to find a permanent forever home for them.
