Teddy is a 1 1/2-year-old black-and-tan cropped/flopped-and-docked Doberman who wandered into a business. He walked up to a kind woman who called Animal Control – but given the virus affecting the shelter, they told her to just let him run loose! So she called DRNV. Teddy is a gentle, sweet Velcro boy who loves to lean against you and wants to be petted. He’s very friendly with people and seems to get along with many other dogs with the proper introduction. But probably would do best as the only goodest boy in the household. To be considered to adopt Teddy, please go to www.drnv.org and complete an application.

More about this rescue
Doberman Rescue of Nevada is dedicated to saving the lives of Doberman Pinschers in need. Headquartered in Las Vegas, we work with individuals and humane organizations to rescue and place Doberman Pinschers into appropriate loving homes. While we love all dogs, our mission is the Doberman Pinscher and its welfare. We work to save Dobermans one at a time. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and available for adoption for a nominal fee. Our volunteers include some of the most experienced Doberman rescuers in the country as well as those who are new to the effort. What we all share is a passion, love and dedication to the Doberman. Our leaders and volunteers are also involved in activities of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, Special Needs Dobermans and the Senior Doberman Project. While this organization is new, over the years our volunteers have helped rescue and place hundreds of our chosen breed of beloved dogs. Dobermans are bright, loving, playful dogs that are often described as a "Velcro" breed because of their habit of literally leaning on and wanting to touch their humans.
