My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, my name is Louie. I am a Snowshoe mixed breed, plush, larger male kitty, with huge blue eyes. I'm a very stunning, handsome guy, with the cream-colored fur, striping on my back, and very thick, soft fur and tail to match. Snowshoes are known for their affectionate and bond strongly with their owners. Confident, intelligent, sociable, and bond deeply with their owners. I am around 8-years old. The average well cared, indoor kitty lives to be 14 to 18-years old these days. I have a large amount of affection and time to share with my next family. I do enjoy cat nip mice and balls to chase around. I would be ok as a single kitty, or with other kitties, or a cat-friendly dog. I am available for adoption because my previous owners were elderly. My Mom passed away, and my Dad was placed into a nursing home. My other two furry cat friends and the dog all needed to leave immediately and the family did not want us. The rescue took us kitties in to avoid placement in a shelter. I am in a private foster home, neutered, all vaccines are current, and I am micro-chipped, which is an added perk adopting from Snow Camp! Please request an adoption application, by clicking the request information button, or text the adoption coordinators, Bev @ 262-894-5975 or Carrie @ 801-550-9231. Once you request an application, please check your spam email folder for our application within 24 hrs, or go to this web address to fill out the application on your phone, https://snowcampfurever.com/contact-us, go to the contact page and scroll down for the application. If you would like to see all the kitties, from adults to kittens available at Snow Camp, click this link, https://snowcamp.rescueme.org/. We offer a 2-week adoption trial. If you feel I am not a good fit for your family, the rescue will take me back. No problem. My adoption fee is $100 to cover the vet costs. I am adorable, and a super affectionate guy. I hope you will have room in your home and heart to let me join you....Signed Louie..

More about this rescue

We rescue kitties from high kill animal shelters and community kitties, take in strays and owner surrendered kitties as we have space available. We provide them love and compassion with private foster homes. All of our beautiful kitties are fully vetted, vaccinated, de-wormed, ears checked for ear mites and cleaned, provided flea medication, as well as microchipped.

We also take in feral kitties, fully vet them and they live their life at our fenced sanctuary with the rescue owner. The kitties are cared for by Karin, a lady with a passion for helping kitties to live their life to the fullest. The sanctuary also takes kitties no one wants like black cats, and the ones no one wants.
