Say hiya to Sambuca, aka Sam! Sam is an exuberant, fun-loving four year old border collie mix. This handsome 53 pounder loves to go on walks and is great with other dogs, and while he needs some help with pulling on the leash, he is a smartypants and is learning quickly! His crate is not his favorite place in the world (that would be your lap, duh), he knows it is a safe space and will go in with encouragement. He's housebroken and highly food motivated, so we know he will be the bestest boy in no time! Sam is BEYOND sweet and loving and is most excited to be your new best friend. The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
