Hi, I'm Fuzzy! I might be the fluffiest of fluffy boys. I have warmed up so much since I arrived here; I was a barn kitty before! I am a confident cat with a sweet yet sassy personality! I like getting attention and head scratches- on my time, of course. I am not a huge fan of other cats or dogs, so I would prefer to be the only pet in the home. I love to lounge, but also play, because it's good to have a balanced life! I would love a home with spots to look out the window but I would also be just as happy with a nice bed to lay on and humans to feed me treats. I can be independent at times, but don't count me out as being affectionate here and there, too! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
