Leon was relinquished to rescue due to being part of an accidental litter. Leon is the sweetest, most submissive, needy little pup we’ve met. We are helping him find his confidence and he continues to blossom every day. He needs a lot of reassurance and we want to find him a home with some that is gentle and has the time to devote to giving Leon all the cuddles he could wish for. He will be a big boy and we are guessing at least 100lbs when full grown. Due to his parents both having long fluffy coats, we expect Leon will as well once his adult coat starts coming in and he will be a dog requiring regular grooming. This has to start young, because trying to groom a 100lb dog that’s not used to it, is no easy task. He will need a home with the comforts of AC as summers can be to hot for a dog like Leon. Leon is already coming such a long way in his potty training. He’s crate trained. Walks good on a leash. He’s already learned sit. He loves the company of another friendly dog, with a gentle play style. He is also being fostered with a kitty and does great with her. Leon has shown characteristics leading us to believe he will be a very calm dog, with a velcro personality that just wants to please and get along with everyone.
