Rescued and fostered by a wonderful local veterinarian here in Chapala, Bean is a handsome, sweet, adult male who loves his people and other dogs. As running is one of his favorite things in life, becoming your wing man on your runs, hikes and other adventures will be absolutely perfect for him.

Bean is energetic, friendly, and playful and will bring joy into your loving home. Bean is fostered in Chapala, Mexico, and can be adopted locally or to locations in the United States or Canada.

The potential adopter is welcome to discuss the dog with the dog's foster home before proceeding with the adoption.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
