Simon is a sweet silver tabby with big, gold, anime eyes and she’s looking for her furever home! She has been loved and cherished since she was an abandoned 8-day old kitten. Her foster mom bottle fed her and nursed her back to health after she was found alone in the middle of a dirt road. She lived with her foster mom’s family until the present. Simon is now a middle-aged gal who enjoys lounging and living the good life! She LOVES to play with her wand toy, frisking around like a kitten trying to capture it. It would probably be helpful for her girlish figure if she chased her toy a bit more Simon tends to be a hidey cat until she’s sure of her surroundings, so she will need someone patient who doesn’t mind waiting for her to get comfortable. She would probably do best in a peaceful home without a ton of hubbub. Change is hard on an older cat just like it is for most of us, so her adopter will need to understand that she might hole up for a bit. Never fear, soon enough Simon will want some patty pats and venture out into the unknown! Her purrsonality is kind, loving, and sweet, with a little bit of vocal sass every once in a while. She is such a fun cat and would gladly be kept by her foster home if it were at all possible. Note that Simon does have a condition that requires her to have a quarter teaspoon daily of powdered Miralax (the people medicine) to help keep her regular. She eats this up herself every night mixed in a Churu treat with no trouble at all! She has met other friendly cats and did great with them after a slow introduction, so we think she would enjoy having another kitty in her life.
Simon was born approximately March 15, 2011, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.
