I was a colony cat cared for by a kind family. After I was neutered I showed my foster how friendly I am. I love being safe inside and really enjoy catnip. I don’t mind other cats. I would do well with a patient family. Someone who can understand I have been through a lot and need adjustment time. I’m a little shy and very sweet. I will sit on your lap and purr tons! I love wet food as a treat and eat kibble when hungry. I’m a good boy who deserves a wonderful carefree life indoors.

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are unable to do meet and greets without an appointment. But you can go online to see available cats as well as in-store.

2.
Submit Application

While the stores do stock paper applications, we recommend filling out our online form as this e-mails us right away.

3.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will reach out within 3 business days to you to discuss your application and answer any questions.

4.
Meet the Pet

Our adoption coordinater will schedule a meet & greet once the application is approved. We do not accept walk-ins except at events.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If, at the meet and greet, you decide the cat is a match, you will be able to sign paperwork then and there to adopt the animal.

6.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees are $175 per animal. We accept cash and credit card. There is a $8.31 processing fee for credit cards ($183.31)

7.
Take the Pet Home

That's it! You will need to leave PetSmart with the cat in a carrier per their policies but you can take them home and get them acclimated!

Additional adoption info

When you've signed the paperwork, we will send you home with a coupon booklet that includes many PetSmart coupons including $5 a hard carrier if you need to purchase one as well as a free bag of food to go home with.
