Idgie was the tiniest of mom Aila's litter of four kittens when they arrived in 2020, and she has grey fur with dark tabby markings with some brown. She has the sweetest, most gentle demeanor - there's not an unkind bone in her body! Idgie loves affection and attention but can be a little shy about asking for it, so she will often sit beside or behind you instead of climbing on your lap, and she loves treats, too.
Idgie and her mom Aila were adopted together in 2021 but unfortunately the adopter was no longer able to care for them and returned them to the Goathouse March 2024. We would love for these two to be able to stay together and find a truly forever home.

More about this rescue
Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
