My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dobby, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself. You see, I found myself looking for a new home through no fault of my own. It seems that someone in my previous family had some pesky allergies, and unfortunately, I ended up needing a new place to call home.

But hey, let's focus on the positives, shall we? First things first, I've been told I have quite the charming smile, thanks to my snaggle teeth. It adds a bit of character, don't you think? Despite my past circumstances, I hold no grudges. I'm as gentle as can be and I absolutely adore cuddling up with my favorite humans.

Oh, and let's not forget about my furry companions! I get along with other dogs, and I've even been known to tolerate the company of those mysterious creatures called cats. We all have our quirks, right?

Now, I'll admit, I've had a bit of trouble with my skin due to some pesky environmental allergies. But fear not! With a new and improved diet along with some special baths, I'm well on my way to feeling like my best self again.

At five years young, I like to think I've mastered the art of being mellow and sweet. Whether it's lounging around the house or going for leisurely strolls, I'm always up for some quality bonding time with my humans.

So, if you're in the market for a charming buddy who's ready to fill your life with love and laughter, look no further! I'm more than ready to embark on an exciting new journey with a forever family who will appreciate me for the lovable goofball that I am. Could that be you? Please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
