Hi, I’m Sophia, a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a gorgeous tan coat and a sweet personality. I’m super sweet and a little skittish. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be loved and pampered.
I was rescued from Lee County Animal Shelter and am now in boarding waiting for a family of my own. I’m crate and house trained and great with people and kids. I would do best with older children over 10 who have dog-manners and will not climb, push or pull on me. I’m super loving and enjoy giving kisses and cuddles. I am treat-motivated and take them gently.
I like to go on car rides and relax with my humans. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can play. I am a beautiful dog made of pure muscle. I am super strong and tend to pull on leash when I am excited but will calm with training direction. I am good with calm submissive dogs like the senior dogs in my former foster home. A slow introduction to any dogs already in the home will be required. I have not been cat tested but can be if you’d like.
I’m looking for a forever home full of fun play times and love. I’m sure that you will fall in love with me as soon as you see me. I am in Clemmons, NC but can be transported to other states. If you think you are the perfect match for me, please fill out an application today. I can’t wait to hear from you! *Must be 21 or older to apply.

Our Mission
Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
