My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Haram, and I'm a 1-year-old Welsh Corgi mix girl. I found myself in the City shelter just before facing the sad fate of euthanasia, but lucky for me, I got rescued and now I'm eagerly waiting for my forever family.

Although I can't see because my optic nerves didn't fully develop, I'm a super affectionate girl who loves people and craves attention from everyone, even strangers! I might seem a bit reserved at first with new dogs because I can't see them, but once we get acquainted, I'm ready to play and have fun.
I do have a playful streak, but I can also be a bit protective if another dog tries to provoke me, so introductions should be handled with care. However, with proper socialization, I can get along just fine with furry friends.

I'm an expert at going on walks! While I may not be able to see the sights, I rely on my other senses and enjoy exploring new places. Walking in familiar areas makes me feel secure and content, and I'll happily trot along beside you, enjoying the fresh air.
After our walks, I love nothing more than to snuggle up and relax. Oh, and when it comes to potty training, I'm a star! I'm equally good at using indoor pads and doing my business outside.
Because I can't see, I'm a bit sensitive to loud noises, but with some love and patience, I'll adjust just fine.

So, if you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who doesn't let a little thing like not being able to see get in the way of enjoying life, then I'm your girl!

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
