My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is incredibly hard to write, but I’m reaching out to see if anyone may be able to help- or know of someone who could provide the right home for my dog, Comet.

Comet is a 9-year-old Maltese Poodle mix, about 10 pounds, with a white coat and a huge love for attention and affection. He bonds deeply with his person, loves cuddling, and thrives on routine and being close to his human.

I want to be fully transparent so Comet can be successful. He has territorial tendencies and can be reactive to other dogs, especially around his space and the people he is bonded to. That said, he has never bitten any people or other dogs- his reactivity is primarily barking, not aggression. Even so, he would benefit from a home that understands reactivity and can provide structure and consistency.
He gets along, especially well with cats, surprisingly.
