My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bogey - Fitness Guru Extraordinaire

Does your cat lay around all day? Does he take 12-hour naps and a hundred trips to the food bowl every day? Is his "primordial pouch" a bit too large? Well, have we got a deal for you!

Add Bogey to your clowder and he'll get them moving. Bogey is super friendly with the other cats and is the fitness guru of the bunch. He will coax, cajole, lick and wrestle the other cats into getting moving. He's a great motivator for your lazy, fat cat. If anyone can get them moving... it's Bogey!

Bogey is an odd duck. He's named after the fighter jet because he is super-fast. Everything Bogey does, he does it at warp speed. EVERYTHING! He runs, plays and even eats at warp speed.

Bogey is super slow to warm up to humans. He'll never be a lap cat or human lover. His superpower is in being a great companion to other cats. If you are looking for a cat as a companion for your cat, Bogey is your guy. With other cats he is easy going, initiates play but respectful if he's told to get lost. Yet he keeps trying. He's the entertainer of his group of foster cats!

Bogey will eat till he pukes. He needs to have a measured amount of food split into little meals twice a day.

Bogey is a male classic spotted tabby cat with white born around December 2021. Look at that cute pink nose. Bogey was found living at a Pilot Gas Station in a colony of 14 cats. The cats were altered through our rescue group's TNR program.

Bogey has a kind and gentle demeanor and yearning eyes. Can you give this boy a chance to live in comfort and love?

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit animal rescue group.

We started out as just a fund, at our local vet, to help pay for operations, etc. for animals in need. Now we rescue animals in need: injured, sick, old, or dying. We give them a second chance and the best life we can until a forever home can be found. We take animals most other rescues turn down because we believe all life is worth our efforts.

Our organization is all volunteer and foster based, because we do not have a shelter. We do not euthanize our animals to make room for more. We run totally on donations and are willing to take any type [money, food, toys, bedding, crates, etc.]. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 2371, Marion NC 28752.
