If you're looking for a good family dog and/or a great exercise companion, come meet Charlie. His fosters say he's done well with their kids (6+ years old), though maybe a bit cautious around younger ones. Charlie is mostly house- but not crate-trained; he likes to play fetch, is very energetic and quite teachable. Riding in cars and going on outings are other favorite activities. He is social, likes being with his people and has done fine in crowds at soccer matches or birthday parties. He is starting to learn sit, stay, leave it and come. His foster recommends he get additional training to solidify those developing skills. So why waste money on a gym membership, when you can have Charlie as a running/walking/jogging companion? Come try him out (and bring along any resident pups so everyone can have fun.)
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
