Princess Buttercup has a very common story…brought into a city shelter as a stray (bs) and had medical needs. She was BRED repeatedly- lots of scar tissue from c-sections. An umbilical hernia, ulcer in her eye, chronic dry eye, double entropion (turned in eyelids), skin allergies (from elements/fleas), giardia and overweight. We are getting her healthy and she will be spayed soon. We are waiting to see if the eyes can heal/calm the inflammation before they determine if both eyes really need the entropion surgery.
She is pure love. So friendly, total social butterfly.
Originally we thought she was around 5-6yo based on her condition but now that we are getting to know her better and she is feeling better, we think she is younger, more like 3-4yo. She LOVES destroying squeaky toys and some shoes. We are working on her house training and trying to show her what is chew approved. She is very snuggly. :)
She will be spayed before going to a new home.
She needs eye ointment (Optimmune) daily. She is very cooperative.
