My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A Rose by any other name would be just a flower and a dog with any other name wouldn't be me, so naturally these humans named me ROSE!

I am a true diamond in the ruff!

I am a beautiful 1 year old Collie mix. I was born and raised on the streets but I always knew I was destined for greater things! I knew that to be in a home I had to be a good girl. Then I had puppies and knew I needed to do anything for my babies. Even though I was just a baby having babies, I was still going to be the best mom. AND I WAS! Thanks to these amazing humans who took me and my babies off the streets, I got to enjoy home life for the first time.

All of my babies found homes and then it was time for me to SHINE! I was a little nervous in the beginning, but home life came naturally to me. I LOVE BEING IN A HOME! I got to camp out at my dog-sitters for a while and it was a blast! I got to meet 20+ dogs in the 3 week time span I was there. Big and small; I love them all! But TOYS! Those things are the best! I love caring toys around with me everywhere! I got to meet a kitty friend too, even though she swatted me we were on good terms after that. Even sharing the bed together every night.

Do you have kids? Well, I like them too! My dog-sitter had 2 kids; 3 & 5. They were great play pals!

I am such a good girl and will do well with families of all kinds, so please apply to meet me today!

More about this rescue

We are a tax exempt nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio,Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to raise funds for animal rescue and find forever homes for our adoptable cats and dogs. Donations are used for veterinary costs, intake fees to animal rescue providers, transport costs to rescue partners and animal fostering costs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!

Your donation directly helps the animals in need, as we do not draw any salaries. We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues and individuals to save as many as we can.
