Delta Dawn needs a new home since her current family can no longer care for her due to their own health concerns.

Delta would thrive in an active home where someone wants a running, hiking, or sports dog buddy. She's very athletic- she can run 6-8 feet up a tree after a squirrel. She loves stuffed filled kongs, large balls, any chew toys, HIKING, swimming. She plays nicely with a 45 pound rescue hound. When he barks at her to stop, she backs off, getting the message.

Delta is a snuggler- but she doesn't always know her size, medium/large dogs and children would be the best fit. A country farm would be ideal! She does have an off switch, napping in her kennel, so any soft place to land, with love and patience, will be perfect!

Please consider this sweet girl who loves to go anywhere in a car! She did super when we took them on our camping trip last fall. Our vet commented how loving and trusting she is, even after all she's been through in her short life.
