My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a gorgeous 1.5 year old front declawed long-haired beauty (born 8/1/2022). She needs to go to a new home with her litter mate brother, Ollie. They are bonded and can be found cuddling, grooming each other, and playing together often. Lucy and Ollie are ½ Ragamuffin and ½ American Longhair with very soft coats. Lucy has a pink nose and some calico coloring which is how you can tell her apart from her brother.

Lucy greets everyone who comes to visit and just like her brother, she loves to play with lots of different toys with some favorites being a cat tunnel and straws that can be found hidden in fun places. Lucy is okay with being brushed but doesn’t enjoy it as much as her brother but making the brushing like a game works well for her.

Lucy is a “real girl” and is dainty and pretty. Although she can be independent and isn’t necessarily a lap cat, she is regularly pawing at her human to be petted and keeps coming back for more. She will jump on her mom’s lap for a short stay and has a really great purr. She enjoys having her head and chin scratched and it seems probable that she will learn to enjoy being a more consistent lap cat someday.

These sweet cats will go to their new home with a water fountain that they love drinking out of as well as several other supplies to help them adjust to their new home and family. They will enjoy greatly a cat tree next to a window where they can watch all the fun things there are to see outside from their inside home that has plenty of room for them to roam.
